Greetings From Tampa Bay
With this work, residents of Tampa Bay were invited to share stories about their city during an interactive performance called “Greetings From Tampa Bay.” The stories were typed up on a manual typewriter and will be integrated into a sculpture at the Tampa International Airport.
Performances were held in various locations around the region in order to incorporate a broad array of voices.
“Greetings From Tampa Bay” includes 171 Polaroid images from the region along with 123 stories gathered directly from those who call this area home. The project was completed in January 2021. An interview with the artist is featured here.
