The Roy G. Biv Exchange
The Roy G. Biv Exchange was launched in Fall 2012 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as the lead component of the Art Department’s diversity initiative. Students participated in workshops during which the performance protocols were determined. The performance, which was presented at the Weatherspoon Art Museum and at the Gatewood Art Gallery, posed questions about issues of diversity on campus to both student and faculty participants. An installation incorporating more than 100 messages dictated during the shows was displayed in the Art Department in Spring 2013.
